Little pet-friendly hotel with extremely friendly and excellent staff members on the night shift. Friendly check-in, late check-out. Particularly good and absolutely perfect location to get to a movie theater and a theater located close to the venue. Located close to the movies and restaurants.

The hotel was perfect for us.
The room we had was new-fashioned and budget, came with the bath as well as nice bottles. The breakfast was fantastic, and the restaurant was kept stocked. It offered excellent service and reasonably priced food too.

I liked the warm and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel, it seemed like we had the whole place to ourselves. It was a wonderful place to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday

Nice location in Stowe. Adjacent to Ye Olde English Inne, great place for drinks. Quiet room set back from road.
Furnishings a bit dated, but cheaper than many places in Stowe.

Had a fantastic getaway with my friends! We loved the indoor and outdoor heated pool and the relaxing hot tub. The ghost tour in the historic village was really fun, especially with the cool replica lantern. Perfect spot for outdoor lovers with great hiking paths.
The only issue was the layout. The toilet paper holder was awkwardly close to the toilet, kind of annoying.

The hotel was in a good location close to the main town centre without it being too close! Beds and pillows really comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating and I would, without hesitation book another stay at this location. Thanks Guys! Really lovely time had by all.
Small whinge! The hairdrier in the bathroom was inadequate, the heat and power that came out of it was very poor. This is however a really small moan! (They did not have any back up hairdriers with some oomph, and, my own travel hairdrier was vastly underpowered due to the voltage difference in the States!) Hairdriers are a big thing to us girlies you know!!

Staff was friendly, accommodating, quick to respond to requests. I booked this for a family group with a few friends, and was pleased to have other members of party thank me for booking here. They liked the relaxed atmosphere, woods and trails, proximity to hiking, shopping, restaurants, they, and I, felt comfortable here, with accommodations and price.

1) proximity to excellent restaurants 2) familiarity with resort 3) ease of changing out of ski clothes at the health club after a half day of skiing 4) the breakfast routine
Evidently, I was penalized for booking my reservation on the internet. I thought I was dealing directly with the Golden Eagle, but was told by you it was a third party. The cost compared with previous years appears to be considerably greater. Let me compare the value with another resort I stayed at two weeks ago. Your cost was approximately $740. At the Grand Jordan Hotel at Sunday River, a 4* superior or 5* rating, the cost was about $1050. This inclued a 5 day ski pass, breakfasts, $125 credit which covered my ski rental.
